Been hearing last couple weeks about Yahoo's bad earning report and how their execs are promising to make more money off their free web services...

So today I fired up LAUNCHcast for the first time in a while. Now, I'm a big proponent of the LAUNCHcast service. So big in fact that I actually pay the yearly fee for the premium service and have never bought an ipod. But right off the bat it serves up three crappy new songs "Recommended by Yahoo! Music." Gisli? +44? Fuck off and give me something off Exile on Main Street. Which it promptly did. After I hit the skip button 6 or 7 more times.

This Halloween I wish the state of Texas would dig up the corpse of Ken Lay and put it on trial.

How much would the GOP have to pay you to say that you had intimate contact (but not sex!) with a gay Republican congressman 40 years ago?

For many Republicans, I would guess the answer is "nothing".

It's been hitting every page for the last few hours by one particular IP address. Haven't seen anything like this before with, say, Google's robots. What concerns me is that it's some scumbag scraper stealing and republishing this on another ad-riddled site. Not that I am especially possessive of what's on this site -- but, as should be obvious by now, I hate that kinda shit.

I'd block the address, but I don't have that kinda control on this site.

Those skeezers sent me their magazine then a bill for $12 -- all without my consent!

Of course, the bill didn't include a number where I could call to yell at them. And my address wasn't even correct. So I returned to sender.

Again, she calls me from 602-624-4928 teasing me with free money and asking me to press 1 to talk to her. I press 1, but I don't want her free money or free sex. I don't want to be a part of her Republican fund raisers and Congressman-on-boy-page molesting fetish. I just want her to stop calling me. Please, stop calling me. Dorothy, what do I have to do to get you to stop calling me?... But when I press 1 and ask for her, her assistant says "hold on" and hangs up on me.

Please, someone intervene on my behalf and ask Dorothy to stop harrassing me.
