US Postal Service
I actually think the post office gets a bad rap -- I'm sure they earned the reputation for laziness and inefficiency at one point. But in my experience, they've done a pretty good job of undermining the cliche.
Until today!
A couple weeks ago, I put in an order online for 3 100-ct coils of the new self-adhesive stamps. Yesterday, I get my order: 3 PANELS of NON-ADHESIVE stamps. So I walk over to my conveniently located local post office here in our office complex this morning to do a simple exchange -- and they tell me they can't fucking do it!
So I dig up my email confirmation, find this line:
and send off an email explaining my predicament. And a couple hours later, this is the reply:
Oh, Kennedy -- I remember you from MTV.
Fuck the postal service! If it wasn't for rubes in red-state backwaters, it'd probably all be privatized and cheaper (for developed urban areas) by now.

Due to an overwhelming amount of orders placed since January 1, reception of your order will be delayed. Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be delivered.
To locate order status of your order, please visit the postal store web page. Click "Account" in the upper right corner and log in. Click on "Order History" for shipping date and Delivery Confirmation information.
You may track the progression of your order, using the Delivery Confirmation number by going to www.usps.com and click on "Track/Confirm" in the red bar at the top of the page. If you cannot locate any of this detail, please call our Stamp Fulfillment Services Center at 800-STAMP-24 and a customer service representative will be glad to assist you.
If it has been more than 15 days since your order was SHIPPED, you are entitled to a refund or replacement order. You will need to call our Stamp Fulfillment Center at 1-800-STAMP-24 to start the claims process. International customers should call 816-545-1000.

Weak Flippers
Thought I was going out of my fucking mind, then I read this:
Yes, I actually opened up Google and researched the fucking pinball game on Windows.
Just one more reason I hate fucking Windows. (Though after 5 hours troubleshooting Linux the other day and still not getting it to run, not too happy with it either.)
In short, fuck operating systems. Computers would run better if we could just get rid of them all together!
Had Windows 98 a couple of years ago and 3d pinball worked great on there no problem. Got so addicted to the game! Got XP this year and gave up on the game because of 'weak flipper syndrome'...really upset me! Just tried kljsdf09j43's advice and ran the media player in the background...the difference is amazing! Maybe the game has a mind of its own and gets lonely?! Real weird though. Now i just need to try and concentrate on the game and not the music! hahahaha!! THANKS GUYS!
