Wovel Defined
It's a new year and, as documented on NPR this morning, somebody has already come up with a new word that is more annoying than any word I heard in 2007. Even "staycation".
The word is wovel. Be sure to update your urban lexicon:
wovel. n.
a wholly lame and derivative literary form that, in combining all the encumbrances of the classic novel with all the insults of the web, was commercially viable for about 15 minutes in the year 2009.
